.  For those who don’t know, SketchUp is a 3d modeling tool (like AutoCad) which has a free version available.  It seems to be a popular tool among woodworkers to mock up plans.

There are tons of tutorials available and as a computer person I’m hoping it won’t be too hard to learn.  There are also quote a few woodworking models available for examples or project ideas.
